We congratulate the parties involved in the announcement made the 21st of June 2023, that the pan-European mid-market private equity firm Stirling Square Capital Partners has (via its subsidiary) entered into a binding agreement to acquire a majority stake in Infobric Group AB, a leading provider of software solutions for the European construction industry, with the investment firm and seller Summa Equity.
Summa Equity will re-invest alongside Stirling Square, and Infobric's management team, as a minority investor, while Stirling Square will work closely with the management team to continue the business' expansion into new markets and to invest in new products and services, including through selective acquisitions to complement the organic growth. The financial terms of the transaction, which is subject to customary regulatory approvals, are not being disclosed.
Infobric is headquartered in Sweden with operations across the Nordics and the United Kingdom, and is the market leader in Sweden, Norway and the UK. With a cloud-based platform compromising a suite of software solutions provided to over 11,450 customers and almost 300,000 workers within the construction sector every day, Infobric contributes to the ongoing digitalisation of the construction industry and enables the customers to efficiently manage site safety, machinery, equipment, contracts and workers with a beneficial sharing of resources and a workforce optimisation.
The Swedish law firm Vinge has in collaboration with Aabø-Evensen acted as legal advisor for Stirling Square Capital. We look forward to further assisting in ensuring a successful closing of the transaction.
